Alternative Line-ups

The always-interesting Best Goal Ardija blog has posted a series of alternative Squirrels line-ups for the forthcoming season, based on coach Jang Wae Ryong's assertion that he is keen to try out alternatives to the Squirrels' traditional four-man defensive system. Best Goal-san's suggestions for Omiya 2009 are here.

He seems to rate Ishihara - don't know much about him myself. Surely Park will play though - a Korean international, playing under a Korean manager....

Surprised Kota hasn't got a team yet. Yes he's not very good but he'd be alright in J2.....probably.

No surprises there have been no takers for perma-crock Sakurai and Kamikaze Takuro. I'm sure if a club wanted a player red-carded every game they would have come looking although as I guess most don't he might just have to look for a new job.

I'd be very surprised if Park is not occupying one of the two sb positions.

I'd say Hato but you know the system. old=good in the Orange republic.

Kota has been rumored for Bundesliga3.

It seems best goal has even less use for 6 pac than us!

Spill the beans on this extraordinary Kota rumour, SMB.
