It's especially good that we actually managed to score from a set piece; that's something that completely disappeared from our play when RV and Higuchi were in charge, whereas Miura's team really seemed geared up to capitalise on free kicks and corners. I was always frustrated, too, by how infrequently Leandro scored considering he was big and pretty darn strong. It looks as if Mato is going to be a very significant player indeed this year.
I agree, Mato looked good at the Big Arch. He also seems to be popular with the other squirrels. Team spirit is always important.
