Dudu Signs!
After ten days or so of rumour and speculation, striker Dudu has signed for Omiya Ardija. Eduardo Francisco da Silva Neto, to give him his full name, is 29 years old and has experience with various Brazilian clubs, including Botafogo and Cruzeiro, as well as having played briefly in Sweden with Kalmar and more recently at FC Seoul and Songnam Ilhwan Chunma in the K-League. He has latterly been playing back in Brazil for Tombense, although there is no information currently about the nature of his contract with them or if he is on loan to the Squirrels. Dudu will wear the number 18 shirt in the Omiya squad.

It would probably be a mistake to assume that, under Jang, anything as straightforward as a new signing going straight into the team is likely to happen, but let's go out on a limb and imagine that Dudu will go into the first XI. Who's going to end up dropped in his place?
A tough one. Maybe one of the midfielders (though not Kanazawa). I really don't know what positions he can play in.
Good signing! he will add depth if anything.. Leading scorer in K League last season.. Musn't be too bad.

Looks like you're going to be attending an interesting match, Daniel - potentially, FC Tokyo could be Dudu's home debut, combined with the visit of perhaps the most in-form Japanese player in the league. Tokyo midfielder Naohiro Ishikawa keeps on scoring spectacular goals and got a hat-trick against Ardija earlier in the season...
I saw Ishikawa's latest effort what a scorcher! Apparently I have a ticket in the supporters section standing area, if any of you see a white 6foot thin guy make sure to say hi, as it will most likely be me :)
Daniel, could you make contact with me via email, please? Address in the top right-hand corner of this page. Thanks in advance.
