GGOA Readers' Survey: Goal Of The Half-Season

Thanks to everyone who voted in the latest GGOA Readers' Survey, which aimed to discover Squirrels fans' favourite Omiya goal from the first half of the J1 season. It was an extremely close vote throughout the week that the poll was open and at one stage it looked as if Taishi Tsukamoto's bullet of a free kick in game #4 at Kashiwa Reysol was going to come out on top. The winner, though, and therefore Ardija's Goal of the Half-Season, was the beautifully-worked Hayato Hashimoto free kick at home to Kyoto Sanga, which was given superb assistance by Daisuke Tomita before being glanced in by Mato Neretljak. Congratulations to Mato and let's hope for a lot more of the same in the remainder of the season.
