Strong rumours on the Yahoo Japan site are linking Omiya with a move for Shusaku Nishikawa, the highly-rated young goalkeeper of relegated Oita Trinita. The same piece also mentions again Ardija's reported interest in another Trinita player, defender Yuki Fukaya.

A keeper? Emm sounds like something we don't need. A creative mid-fielder would be nice.
Yeah. I mean I wouldn't be complaining if we brought in perhaps the best young keeper in the country, but it's hard to see it as a priority area of the squad... unlike, say, the midfield.
And speaking of which, there's some pretty interesting stuff going on on Fujimoto's blog at the moment. He's been offered a new deal but said he was disappointed and sad that the club had released Tomita and Hato. Someone commented that that's the nature of professional sport, which had in itself led to him, Fujimoto, having been sold to Omiya in the first place - and that if he couldn't get used to that idea, it was better for Ardija not have such a weak person in the team and he ought to leave.
