Close-Season Gossip, pt 7

As well as recent stories about Omiya's interest in Oita Trinita goalkeeper Shusaku Nishikawa, Ardija are being linked in the Nikkan Sports with another keeper, in the shape of Takashi Kitano of Albirex Niigata. The 27-year-old has been the Swans' first-choice for the past four seasons and, like Koji Ezumi, played every minute of every league game in 2009.

What's wrong with Ezumi? Can't work this out at all. Aren't creative midfielders not the priority along with several defenders?

I'd be happy enough to see the whole of the midfield replaced, to be honest, OF, and although it's obviously fine to have competition for the goalkeeper position, it's very hard to imagine why it might be a priority. Still, I'm sure Haruo Yuuki and Jang know what they're doing.

Did I detect a smidgen of sarcasm?!
They are both quite clearly mad to replace arguably our second best player, probably at high cost if it is Nishikawa.
