Nikkan Sports are reporting here that Ardija are chasing a deal with North Korean international Ahn Young Hak. The 31-year-old was born in Japan and played in the J-League for Albirex Niigata and Nagoya Grampus before heading for the K-League, where he has played for Busan I'Park - and most recently Suwon Samsung Bluewings alongside Mato Neretljak. As a defensive midfield player, the assumption is that the Squirrels are pursuing Ahn as a consequence of their having missed out on Japan international Junichi Inamoto.
