Viva Baby Squirrels
News reaches GGOA that in May, an Omiya U12 team will be participating for the first time in a prestigious seven-a-side tournament in Spain. The Baby Squirrels will be one of twenty finalists in the annual Arousa Futbol 7 competition, alongside young teams from such giants of the game as Barcelona, Inter Milan, Paris St Germain, Tottenham Hotspur and current holders Espanyol. It will be the first time that a Japanese side has ever taken part in AF7. Vamos Ardija!
