Saeki Gets A Deal
Ex-Ardija midfielder Naoya Saeki has signed for J1 rivals JEF United. The 31-year-old came to Omiya from Vissel Kobe prior to the 2006 season but was loaned out to Avispa Fukuoka halfway through his debut season. The last two campaigns have seen him in and out of the Squirrels first team as a terrier-like presence in the middle of the pitch, but he was released at the end of 2008.

Did you go to the Supporter Day?
Couldn't make it today (sick son) and I don't think I will be going anymore. Hope we do well this season but concerned about our axis of incompetence at LCB and LB!
