Niwa Stays Down South

Daiki Niwa has extended his loan deal with Avispa Fukuoka until the end of the 2009 season. The defender, who will be 23 next week, joined Ardija on loan from Gamba Osaka a year ago but barely registered on the Squirrels first team before being shipped off to Fukuoka in August.
