Goal Ranking So Far
A quick glance at the Ardija scorers in their pre-season games to date makes for interesting reading. Masahiko Ichikawa may have been given the minimum opportunity to make an impact in the first team last season under Yasuhiro Higuchi - but he is doing as much as possible to catch the eye of new Squirrels coach Jang Wae Ryong and as such has already weighed in with six goals.

He must have a chance to start against S-Pulse. Ishikawa seems to have gone quiet and where in the name of Agent Orange is Denis?!

Ichikawa has certainly staked a strong claim to start against S-Pulse, but then again he scored for the reserves consistently throughout 2008. It'll be very interesting indeed to see if he gets a real chance - presumably alongside either Klemen or Fujita.
