Daigo Update
On-loan Squirrel Daigo Kobayashi scored two more goals for Stabaek at the weekend, as the Norwegian 2008 champions continue their recovery from what was a poor start to the current season. Stabaek beat Start 5-0 and are now sixth in the table, five points off second place - although the traditionally strong Rosenborg would appear to have the title sewn up. However, Daigo too is by all accounts improving, his role in the team switching from side to side in the midfield or occupying a space in the hole behind the strikers. He'll be off to a bigger club soon. What's that 9 goals already?
Apparently there are currently some financial difficulties at Stabaek, resulting in pay cuts and a reduction in the size of the squad.
