Meeting News pt 1

GGOA will be posting any possible news (which may be none at all) that emerges about today's key meeting between club staff and Ardija supporters, scheduled to start at Omiya Park at 7pm. The main Mixi fan page is reporting that thirty fans were queuing outside the ground at 4pm.

100 people at 6.30pm, according to Mixi.

Doesn't seem as if anyone has posted anything from inside the meeting, which is now scheduled to have finished.

Nowt happened then?

Just been checking Daigo's record in Norway this season - 7 goals in 15 games in all competitions!

Makes me sad to type that.

Looks like the meeting went on for two hours rather than the scheduled hour and a half. No details yet, though.

Disaster of a season for Stabaek, though - they're mid-table, having won the league last year. Daigo started very quietly but has scored a few as you say, OF, although I think he got a couple in a Cup game against a lower division team and has also taken a penalty or two.

Where would Daigo play in the Jang regime? I'm tempted to say in goal....

Okubo went back to Kobe yet again today - maybe we can sneak in Inamoto before anyone notices.

I wonder if there was a player representative at the meeting?

I just think Inamoto is an absolutely huge risk for us at this time. The record of many Japanese players coming back from Europe is poor - they seem to find it hard to re-adapt - and Inamoto has had such a peculiar, up and down career wherever he's been. Not to say we don't need strengthening in this area of the field, but I wouldn't touch him with a ten-foot pole (assuming there is even any truth in the rumour, of course).

Suggestions from Mixi that no information will be issued by the club until tomorrow or even Friday. Surprised if this is the case, given that they were careful to point out that the media were there and will presumably report it more quickly than that.
