2010 Dates 'n' Stuff

Key dates have been announced regarding the scheduling of the J-League in 2010 - World Cup year. The season will commence on 6th March and will finish on 4th December, with the fixtures themselves to be released in early February. After round 12 on 15/16 May, J1 will break for a period of two months for the World Cup finals; 19-team J2, which will operate a 36-match season, will have a one month break from round 17 on 12/13 June. It's also been announced that the Satellite League will not operate in 2010, for reasons of budgeting and scheduling.
