Daigo Update

Over in Greece, Iraklis fan tomg10 has been kind enough to send on an update of another former Ardija favourite, Daigo Kobayashi. tomg10 writes as follows:

"Five days ago we played a match against Panathinaikos away at Athens. Daigo as always now started the match and he had a very good opportunity to score when dribbled Panathinaikos defender with a lob above of him and he was one on one but he wanted to lob the keeper and put the ball too high. We lost 2-0 and Panathinaikos took the championship. Also in our forum we voted the MVP, who was Daigo. This is his first MVP prize from the fans and he won the coach's vote of confidence and he start every match.

"In two days' time we will play the last match of the season home against Skoda Xanthi. Now Iraklis are seventh and if we win, Xanthi will be relegated and we will go sixth - only one place away from the European places. We made a very good second half to the league season and we could play to Europa League if we started to win matches in the first half of the season."
