Morita Moves On

Here on GGOA we've been following the career of ex-Squirrel Hiroshi Morita with some interest lately. Released by Ventforet Kofu at the end of last year, the goal-shy striker evidently had trials over the winter with several clubs in Thailand before signing for Bangkok-based outfit Thai Port FC. However, after just a handful of games and one goal, Morita has left Thai Port and accepted a deal back in Japan with ambitious JFL side V Varen Nagasaki. The Kyushu club currently lie ninth in the eighteen-team division, but are hopeful of moving into the J-League in the next few seasons.
