Shimizu Stars Again

Young Squirrel Shintaro Shimizu was again on target for his High School team Seibudai as they beat Fukuoka's Kyushu International 2-1 in Sunday's All-Japan High School Football Tournament Second Round tie. Shimizu plays up front with the dangerous Masato Sasaki, who netted the opening goal with an improvised looping back header, while Ardija's signing sealed the tie with a neat half-volley on the turn. Seibudai advance to the last sixteen of the tournament for the first time, where they will take on Sakuyo from Okayama.
