Pedro Heads To Swans

Having bailed out on Ardija in June, taking a loan deal back in his native Brazil, unsurprising news comes today with the announcement that Squirrels forward Pedro Junior will spend 2009 on loan at sunny Albirex Niigata. The 21-year-old got 2008 off to a flying start with a match-winning display against the Swans, but subsequently slipped behind Denis Marques in the pecking order and scored on only one more occasion.
